I'm looking for anyone that even somewhat likes Cowboy Bebop, and knows how to role play. I did stuff for quite some time with a CB message board, doing Story Lines. However, all the other members just...vanished, so I've been posting with no replies to anything what so ever. I need someone to step in and help me keep things going. Ok, the whistler's back online. I've been buried up to my neck in studio gear recently.
Glad to hear y'all are excited about Ireland. TSAngel, could you maybe change the thread name on "who's going home" to "Ireland Tour" or some such, so it's obvious to newcomers? Sounds like there's a move afoot to conquer the Old Country before we even arrive. That's great, saves us work...if you find anyone over there with good combat gear (i.e. a PA system we could borrow for a gig!) we'd love to know. On to the World Domination News. We've discovered that humor is a great tool for this; when they're rolling on the ground laughing, we can use our Mind Domination Ray more easily. So we've been recording all our silly stuff and posting it to MP3.com, and we'll shortly have a new MP3 CD available called "Rants and Rambles". Here's a track listing: Vampire Girl from Orn My PBJ (new rock mix) A Bachelor's Life The Whiskey Poem Chicken Raid of Cymru Goth Baby Rattlin' Bog Santa Claus is Pagan, Too Chicken Raid outtake (strange). It'll be about $10. MP3.com keeps most of that money, but soon they, too, will fall to the Emerald Rose Machine and we'll raid their coffers at will. A good sign: "Santa Claus is Pagan Too" is in the top 20 of the Pop/Rock-Seasonal (i.e. Christmas) genre on MP3.com, getting over 100 downloads per day! My personal goal is to have it beat "My Christmas Song for Jesus" in the rankings. So download it lots, and tell your friends! Check out "Goth Baby" and the new "My P.B.J." as well. Hi Everyone - Cheryl here, but I signed up for a global ezboard account so I can post on other boards too...
I'm not really an anime "geek", but I used to watch a fair amount of anime back in school...most of it I enjoyed. (There were a lot of Anime geeks in the SciFi Forum I hung out in.) Lets see - mostly I remember movies - Vampire Hunter D 1 & 2, Ghost in the Shell...all of which I liked a lot, although if I remember correctly the Vampire Hunter D sequel was really too similar to the first plot wise.. Series type stuff I dont remember as much. I've seen some episodes of Lodoss Wars (I think?), Gundam, I suffered through some Ranma 1/2, some episodes of something called um, Ogre Killer or something...Gods - there is a lot more I've seen but I cant remember titles - we used to have marathon showings and watch hours of the stuff...of course anything I could mention would be at least 6 years old cuz I havent watched in ages... I think I need to organize some anime movie nites again! So what is good in the anime world these days? Cheryl |

Oddly enough, most of the anime's are still popular. You got Cowboy Bebop as I've mentioned many time. Then you've still got DragonBall and DragonBall Z. They're darn popular. G Gundam is ok, Gundam 0083 everyone likes...so..yah...most of the older ones are still fav's of people.
Now people like that manga anime crap. -.- SailorMoon, Yu Gi Oh, PokeMon, etc. |

Hey, it's been a dry season for posts, I know. Yes, the band is actually still alive & kicking! We're back buried in the dungeon trying to keep computers working and laying down trax for the next CD, which still has no formal working name at this very moment. But we have a number of songs in progress, including:
-Urania Sings -Take Me Down (to her water) -Come to the Dance -Four Jacks -Dagger of the Moon (new version) -Three More Drops -Listen -Wheel of Fortune plus some instrumentals and songs in process. Stay tuned, I'll actually try to post some progress reports... -Larry |
